Artemis: Greek Goddess of the Hunt

Greek Goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, women, virginity and a partridge in a pear tree...ok, maybe not the last one, but she definitely represents quite a bit in Greek mythology. Most often depicted carrying her silver bow and arrows she protects women when they give birth and also protects wild animals, even though she also hunts for them, but each kill isn't needlessly done. Her own virginity is sacred to herself and she can become very cruel when one tries to violate her.

This was done for CA.org's Chow, even though the contest was unexpected extended by two weeks I was unable to finish in time, mainly due to the fact I decided to join in the last minute, procrastination FTW!!!
