I am making a custom, fan-made, free adventure for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Would you mind if I used this image for a villain card... It's called "The Thing Below," and is meant to be a giant unspeakable deep sea beast. This is so perfect for it! This is all for fun and the joy of making games, no money is involved anywhere, it's just something to give to the Pathfinder community. I would credit and link you in my game PDF, and on the card itself. I greatly appreciate your consideration. Cheers.

And THAT'S why I would never go on a expedition in the depths of the ocean, because you don't know what would you find. Still, absolutely brilliant and really love it.

I like the mouth/face armor. The squid makes a good sense of scale.

squids and be anywhere from a few feet long to over 46 feet long. I'm just going to assume the squid in the image would be a colossal squid.

This squid looks about 15 ft long to me, based on what I know about them.
What I meant by providing a good sense of scale is that this beast looks bigger with something else near it.

What ever it's size is I still wouldn't want to be swimming in the water with it around unless i had some Forerunner back up or something (Forerunners are from the Halo universe for all of these people who don't know).

Me either.
The sense sheer size and feeling of ancientness in this picture does fit Halo somehow.

Maybe it's an ancient precursor construct that somehow survived the firing of the Halo arrays.

what's even more scary is that if something like this existed, and there were multiple of them, human kind wouldn't be able to stop them even if the size factor was compairing it to a normal squid (1 ft)

My point being, if that's a giant squid and that thing is several hundred feet long... would exponentially increase how terrifying this thing would be, no?

well if it were that bug i'd think it would have attacked many ships and been reported worldwide. also it would be near impossible to NOT spot it if it were that large even though only 5% of the ocean has been explored to this day.

You'd be surprised how hard it is to find something underwater... if it was as big as you say, there are lots of things in the sea that would tear it to shreds...

Good point. Now imagine a giant fish like thing in space that is so huge you can't even tell it's there when you're looking at it and even when it moves you can't tell because of it's immense size and how far away it is. Good thing earth isn't an Iron pill for it...yet.
